Terms and Conditions

 True Reefer Company – Terms and Conditions 
Effective Date: May 20, 2025

1. Overview 
True Reefer Company ("we," "our," or "us") provides repair, diagnostic, and consulting services for transport refrigeration units, as well as the sale of aftermarket refrigeration parts. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all services, sales, and transactions between True Reefer Company and the customer ("Customer").

By requesting service, purchasing parts, or engaging with our company, the Customer agrees to these Terms.

2. Services Provided 
True Reefer Company provides, but is not limited to, the following services:

• On-site repair and maintenance of refrigerated transport equipment 
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems 
• Installation or replacement of refrigeration components 
• Consultation related to refrigeration system operation and maintenance 
• Sale of aftermarket refrigeration unit parts

Services are performed with reasonable care consistent with industry standards.

3. Payment Terms 
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and approved electronic payment methods. By providing payment information, the Customer authorizes True Reefer Company to charge the applicable fees for services performed, parts supplied, and any agreed service charges.

Accounts with unpaid balances may be placed on service hold until the balance is resolved.

Past Due Invoices

For every additional 7 days an invoice is past due, a $25 late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance.

4. Dispatch and Service Authorization 
By requesting or accepting service, the Customer authorizes True Reefer Company to perform necessary diagnostic and repair work and agrees to pay for labor, parts, travel, and applicable service charges.

Service may be performed even if the Customer is not physically present at the service location when dispatch has been authorized.

5. Parts Sales – No Returns 
All aftermarket parts sales are final.

True Reefer Company does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on parts unless required by law. Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility and specifications prior to purchase.

Manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are provided solely by the manufacturer.

6. Warranties 
True Reefer Company does not provide independent warranties on parts unless expressly stated in writing.

Labor performed may include a limited workmanship guarantee at our discretion. Customers must notify us within ninety (90) days of service if an issue related to workmanship arises.

This guarantee applies only to the specific service performed and does not cover unrelated system failures, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

7. Limitation of Liability 
True Reefer Company shall not be liable for:

• Cargo loss, spoilage, or product damage 
• Downtime or operational losses 
• Loss of revenue or profits 
• Business interruption or consequential damages 
• Failures of refrigeration equipment before, during, or after service

All services are performed with industry-standard care; however, refrigeration systems are complex mechanical systems and failures may occur outside our control.

The Customer assumes responsibility for monitoring cargo conditions and ensuring equipment is operating properly after service.

8. Customer Responsibility 
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that equipment is safe to service and accessible at the time of dispatch.

Customers must provide accurate information regarding equipment condition, prior repairs, and operating issues. True Reefer Company is not responsible for damages resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the Customer.

9. Cancellations and Scheduling 
Service appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice.

Late cancellations, refusal of service upon arrival, or no-show situations may result in a service charge or dispatch fee.

10. Privacy and Customer Data 
True Reefer Company may collect limited personal, contact, and payment information necessary to process transactions and manage customer accounts.

Customer information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or necessary to process payments through secure payment providers.

Reasonable safeguards are implemented to protect customer information.

11. Governing Law 
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms 
True Reefer Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms may be posted on our website or provided directly to customers.

Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Acceptance of Terms 
By requesting service, purchasing parts, or engaging with True Reefer Company, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
